I was born and raised in a small central Illinois community where doing things outdoors was the normal thing for kids to do. It just so happen that fishing was an interest that I had and was able to fulfill it due to the many ponds and creeks that were close by. I received Christ as my personal savior at the age of 8 (wish I could say that I have been faithful since that time) and have been blessed much more than I deserve since then. At the age of 14 we move to Canton, IL and I lived there until 1982. I now live in Virginia, IL in the country with my wonderful wife and 2 labs. (There is also a cat that lives here) Fishing was a big part of my life until my teenage years when confusion entered into my live and rebellion took over along with many bad decisions. For several years I was involved in alcohol and drugs. At the age of 37 the Lord woke me up and I was called into ministry where I served in evangelism and pastoring. Also the passion I once had for fishing was rekindled and the Lord has been gracious in allowing me to use it in His ministry.
